“We’re two people from Madurai who wanted to build something for the city we call home.”

We’re Harini and Sakthi. We grew up in Madurai and are currently pursuing our master’s degrees in Bangalore. Our backgrounds are different, but we share an interest in people, consumer behaviour, convenience and how businesses can solve everyday problems.

The idea for IRA came from a simple observation: sometimes what people need isn’t difficult to find — it’s simply not available when and where they need it.

We’re starting in Madurai, learning from real people and real places, and building IRA step by step.

Where is IRA starting?

What products will be available?

The initial focus is packaged snacks and beverages. The final assortment will depend on customer research and location needs.

Who can partner with IRA?

Colleges, universities, hospitals, hostels, offices, gyms, turfs and other suitable locations in Madurai can enquire.

How does payment work?

IRA’s planned machines support digital payment through UPI / QR and touchscreen product selection.

Is the machine refrigerated?

Yes. Refrigeration is part of the planned vending-machine specification for appropriate products.

Does IRA operate 24/7?

The machine is designed for 24/7 operation, subject to the host location’s access rules, power and operating arrangements.

Are you expanding to other categories?

Potential future categories are being considered, but they are not part of the initial launch offering.

What does IRA manage at a partner location?

IRA plans to coordinate product selection, restocking and machine servicing. Site access, utilities, commercials and responsibilities are agreed with each partner before installation.

Is the IRA Fit Check an approval or revenue estimate?

No. It is a preliminary guide. Suitability depends on actual demand, power, site access, space, service routes and mutually agreed terms.
